Travelers
worldwide identify Hawaii as a top destination for leisure travel and
the appeal of the Islands is a natural attendance builder. Numerous
organizations found event turnout was double or even triple when held in
Hawaii. Oahu has many distinguishing attributes which makes it
consistently rank as top listed world class destination. Many attendees
bring their families and lengthen their stays to take full advantage of
everything the six unique islands have to offer.
From spectacular
scenery to international cuisine, magnificent beaches and renowned golf
courses, any organization’s gathering will be significantly enhanced if
held here. For numerous contented clients, the bottom line is this:
Meetings are better attended and more productive in Hawaii than in
competing locations.
The Center
The
Hawaii Convention Center combines the modern requirements of a
state-of-the-art meeting facility with the beauty, comfort and culture
that are uniquely Hawaii. Soaring forms and breathtaking space call to
mind tropical palm trees and Polynesian sailing canoes. The design of
the glass-front center represents the unique culture of Hawaii, with its
bold architecture, $2 million Hawaiian art collection, and features a rooftop tropical garden, glass-encased meeting rooms and outdoor
function spaces lined with giant palm trees.
The site for the Center was selected for its close proximity to 10,000
committable hotel rooms in Waikiki. The spirit of the Hawaii Convention Center is
the spirit of Aloha – welcoming and serving all who visit the Center
with unconditional Aloha.
The Honolulu International Airport is conveniently located 9 miles (14.4
km) west of Waikiki Beach, 4 miles (6.4 km) West of Central Honolulu and
7.5 miles (12 km) west of the Hawaii Convention Center.
